Your music and files
Songs, Song Sheets, setlists, performance settings, MIDI cues, band information, audio associations, and imported files are stored on your device. GigCaddy does not upload this library to a GigCaddy-operated cloud service.
When you choose to export, share, or back up music, the files go only to the destination you select through Apple’s system sharing or file tools. That recipient or provider handles the export under its own terms and privacy practices.
Music Library
If you choose a track from your device’s Music Library, GigCaddy stores its persistent identifier and selected metadata to associate it with a song for rehearsal playback. Artwork may be read on demand and downsampled for the transport display. GigCaddy does not scrape artwork from the web or keep a redundant full-size copy.
GigCaddy Station
GigCaddy Station runs only when you start it. It makes your GigCaddy library available to a browser on the same local network after that browser enters a temporary pairing code. Use Station only on a trusted network and stop the session when you are finished. GigCaddy does not route Station traffic through a GigCaddy-operated cloud server.
MIDI and Bluetooth
GigCaddy can send and receive MIDI through connections you select. Bluetooth access is used only for Bluetooth MIDI hardware. GigCaddy does not use MIDI or Bluetooth data for advertising, tracking, or analytics.
Purchases
The optional Unlimited Library purchase is sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes payment information. GigCaddy reads verified StoreKit entitlement status and keeps a minimal local cache of the last verified access level so previously verified library capacity can remain available temporarily while offline. GigCaddy does not receive or store payment-card information.
Retention and deletion
Your music and settings stay on your device until you edit or delete them, restore a replacement backup, or remove the app and its data through the operating system. Exported files remain wherever you place or share them. Keep a verified backup before destructive library operations.
Children
GigCaddy is a general music productivity tool and is not directed to children for the purpose of collecting personal information. Because GigCaddy does not operate accounts, analytics, advertising, or a cloud library, it does not knowingly collect personal information through an operated service.
Changes
We may update this policy if GigCaddy’s features or data practices change. The effective date will be updated when a revised policy is published.
